Big B writes touching letter about women empowerment to his

granddaughters

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan has three grandchildren, Navya Naveli and Agastya from his daughter Shweta and Aaradhya from Abhishek. And the megastar has written a heartfelt letter specifically addressed to his granddaughters to stand up against the societal challenges that a woman faces. He asks them not to get bogged down by the numerous restrictions that a woman has to go through, regarding their dressing, marriage and ‘log kya kahenge’. He wants the girls to change certain norms against women and wants them to set their own boundaries, make their own choices and rise above people’s judgements, and most importantly, set an example for women everywhere. Bachchan believes that once they accomplish this task they would have done more than he has done, and then it will be an ‘honor’ for him to be known not as Amitabh Bachchan, but as their grandfather. Bachchan has shared the video addressing them as well as the letter.

The vocational training centre opens in Menhdawal in U.P.

The Vocational Training Centre starts at Janta Vaidic Mahavidyalay in Menhdawal in district Sant Kabir Nagar of Uttar Pradesh, The first batch of 35 students in Tailoring starts. All candidates are regular students of M.A. II (Home Science) of college. Swayamsiddha provides 6 sewing machines to college for training purpose.

Handicapped persons.

With inspiration and guidance of Our Trustee & State co-ordinator Mr. Mehulbhai Budheliya “Swayamsiddha Educational & Charitable Trust” able to open 30 Vocational Training Centres for Physically handicapped persons in State of Gujarat. Our Managing Trustee Mr. Udayraj Shukla will be visiting Gujarat to observe the work personally. Swayamsiddha is planning to provide atleast 200 sewing machines & 250 Beauty Kits to newly open centres in Gujarat.
